Nevada Department of Transportation Chooses American Polymer for Performance and Reliability

Graffiti is a growing and expensive problem that costs counties and cities millions. In 2003, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) took a firm stand against the rising tide of spray-can vandalism and embarked on a comprehensive search for the best graffiti-abatement solution.

NDOT wanted a permanent non-sacrificial solution that could sustain multiple graffiti taggings. Recognizing that timely graffiti removal reduced the likelihood of repeat attacks, the department also wanted a solution that offered fast, safe and environmentally friendly clean-up abilities without compromising the aesthetics of the original structure.
